Dear All
The Willow weaving workshop tonight has been postponed until August due to weather. We are back next week with a talk by Tom Redfern from the Avon Wood Cooperative about Timber Framing and the following Wednesday we have Claire Milne from Bristol Food Hub presenting 'The Good, the Bad & the Unpalatable' local to global food talk. I am pleased to confirm that the last Wednesday in July we will be running a papermaking workshop. So please fill in your diaries and join us at Stapelton Road train Station from 6.30/7 (for Soup/talk) to 8.30 for our 'That'll Learn You' skill swap nights. We are currently organising our August program so please get in touch if you have suggestions or wish to give a talk/workshop yourself.
Dont forget our volunteer days are Thursdays 12 to 5 at Trinity Community Arts Centre garden and Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays at Stapelton Road Train Station site from 10.30 to 5 - all welcome, refreshments and training available. Please contact me if you wish to help run these volunteer days.
Eastside Roots will be running a 'green roof' practical course and an 'Introduction to Permaculture' course (tutor Sarah Pugh) shortly please contact me for more details.
Finally we are planning a Harvest Fayre at Stapelton Road Train Station site from 12 to 8.30 on 31st August. please contact me if you wish to have a stall, perform on the day or run a workshop. Also if you wish to help out generally or have any ideas for the day we are holding an open meeting 6.30 to 8.30 on 4th August - venue to be confirmed.
best regards
