[Fwd: FW: Stapleton Road Tenancy Agreement]   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #71 of 244 |
Hi
I just recieved this from Liz, not much time to read through before tmrw
but a few things look like they need to be discussed.

Firstly the lenght of time is only 3 years! The fences may be of issue to
BEST, they want them to pay for extra fences, is this worth it if only for
3 years!? Also, the key holder should be us and not BEST. Other than that
there is lots of jargon i dont understand so would be good for others to
look at it.
The plan is to go through the agreement tmrw (in a meeting with network
rail and BEST) and then go away and think about any more changes before
signing anything. Please let me know if there is anything of concern etc.

Regards,Jen

Hi Jen - I only received this today, which isn't much notice before
tomorrow's meeting. I'll email him to let him know that Roots will be
running the garden centre. There are obviously real issues here which need
to be clarified eg. not being able to open the gates without BEST !! I'm
sure we can clarify that kind of thing. Perhaps more importantly we need
to ask for more time on the agreement, I would have thought, because 3
years is not really much time. What do you think? Liz. See you at 4.30
tomorrow.

Liz, Sarah

I have attached a draft copy of the tenancy agreement for the Stapleton
Road community garden centre project.

The majority of the agreement is the standard template for this type of
tenancy with the specific details on the front sheet and in the schedule
at the back. I have been unable to contact Red Cotton at Bristol City
Council to confirm if they are happy to sign this but I have left a
message.

Clause 9 regarding the transfer of the agreement is blank as I am awaiting
confirmation from our legal department as to how this should be worded.
Please can you confirm who will be running the garden centre, BEST or
Permaculture?

See you both tomorrow.
