ECC - CREATIVE ARTS WEEKEND
Graham Dickerson, Ian Williams and Lionel Reed will be facilitating
another creative arts weekend at Hebden Bridge along the lines of the
successful events run in 2003 and 2004 by John Casson, David Mooney
and John Miller.
The event will aim for 25 participants. The event is aimed very much
as those who think they do not have an artistic bone in their body as
well as those for whom art comes more naturally – the emphasis will be
on the process of creating, not on the finished product. Art is a
little like sex – quite fun to watch but much better to participate in
- and needs no previous experience! Workshops are likely to include
creative writing, drama, paint, singing or whatever you bring to the
event – and of course it would not be complete without a cabaret.
Hebden House is set in woodland with breathtaking views
www.hebden-house.co.uk . The house is 15 minutes walk (or a short
taxi ride) from the railway station in Hebden Bridge . Accommodation
is in shared ensuite bunk rooms – max 4 to a room. Catering is
vegetarian. Vegan and gluten-free diets can also be accommodated.
The venue is partly disabled-accessible with stair lifts available as
well as a specially adapted bedroom and bathroom – more info on
request.
The break even amount per person is just under £200 and you are
invited to pay less or more, according to your income. Booking form
attached.
