Thankyou for that chris jeffries. Considering I have never ever had a single e mail from this 'public discuss' group, and considering I have also never signed onto it, I think it's fair to say it has not been, and nor is it now, popular with absolutely anyone.
Regardless of what it is called.
Nuisance e mails by the score are still a nuisance and if moderated, needs attention.
Glad to say, it has been sorted and I - like the other 45 people who have obviously not shown any interest in this 'public discussion ' e mail group, will take my name off it. What's the point of this 'public' group anyway ?

Sorry about the recent spate of spam.
I think it was clear from the group description that the multiple
advertising being sent was not within what the group was intended for
and I have removed the relevant member.
In order to make it easier for people to join the group membership was
previously set to Open (anyone can join); I have changed it so that
membership now requires approval.
