Anyone who wasn't there missed a brilliant gig last night at The Black Horse. I was a little surprised when I saw the venue, as it was a smallish village pub/restaurant and not the sort of place I would have imagined The Hot Rods playing in. It couldn't have been more different to The Broken Wheel in Retford, which was the last venue I saw them at, but by the time the band arrived on stage, the place was packed and everyone ready to enjoy themselves!
Richard was just born to rock, which he certainly did! He was sensational!  It was the first time I had seen the newish guy, Chris and he was rather impressive too! It happened to be Barrie's birthday and he worked tirelessly to entertain, as he always does! Poor soul looked totally knackered by the end of two thundering sets! Simon beat the living daylights out of the drums and Dipster...well, he was Dipster, what more can I say....
A huge thanks to all the lads for a fantastic evening!

:-)
Pam
