Boardwalk Gig   Message List

An absolutely brilliant Rods gig at the Boardwalk in Sheffield last
Saturday night! Simon, thundering out the beat on his beautiful blue
drums. Richard, throwing his life and soul into it and, as always,
sounding fantastic. Chris, playing his twiddly bits with his eyes open
quite a lot, and note perfect. Barrie, with his hair grown back to a
lovely length, hiding his ears (not that there's anything wrong with
them!)looking and sounding just as he should! Dipster? Well, Dipster
was just being himself! We wouldn't want him to be anything else! If I
have a tiny, little criticism though, it is that Dipster didn't sing on
one of their newer songs 'Yeah, Yeah, Yeah'. When we saw Eddie and The
Hot Rods at The Farm, Dipster joined in with singing the chorus of that
song and added a great deal to it, both visually and sound-wise!
Anyway, thanks loads to The Rods for a wonderful evening's
entertainment!
:-)
Pam
