As I suspected, it seems like the doors will be open at around 18:00, with the Rods on stage at around 19:00, with the Feelgoods on after.
Pre-gig watering holes are usually Lloyds (formerly Wetherspoons), about 200 yards along Charing Cross Road, or there's a nearer one whose name escapes me at the moment - it's at the end of a short back-street about 50 yards along C X Road.
Nearest Underground (about 30 ft away) is Tottenham Court Road.
Food: Things have improved lately with a rough-and-ready noodle bar a short way up Oxford Street on the left.
Are they still showing 'We-Evil Rock You' across the road at the Dominion?
