Hello Jan,
One important point with the 770R Mkll, you must have a shorting plug
in the co-axial socket for the Pan-Adaptor, if you are not using a
Pan-Adaptor. The set originally was supplied with a shorting plug, but
it gets lost. As you will see from the supplementary circuit, the
output is obtained by lifting the de-coupling capacitor from ground,
which affects signal strength. I found out the hard way!
Ron.

Jan,
Let me know if you do not get the manual for the 770R MkII. I have a
copy
and can photocopy it for you. There is not much difference from the
Mk1 manual
which you can download from the EUG web site. There is no separate
circuit
diagram for the MkII just a sheet showing the three changes. e.g to
the mains
input circuit, the addition of the IF out circuit for the panadapter
and
the addition of the calibration circuit.
Best,
Mike Cassidy
