Re: Eddystone 659/670

Hi,

This set doesn't have a power lead. I went to my father in laws
yesterday and we searched high and low and couldn't find it.

Mind you, I did find an old Bell & Howell 16mm projector, an ancient
tranisistor radio, and old valve radio, and a cabinet with somne old
equipment in it that was labelled "British Ferrograph". However, I
digress.... as I need to find a power lead.

Do any exist, or do you know what the plug type model is (that is,
the 2 prong plug that goes into the receiver)? Failing that, I assume
it is possible to put in my own power lead and connect it to the
internals where the current power socket is?

With the 2 prong receptacle on the 670 receiver, is it important to
connect the active and neutral to any particular prong?

regards
river

PS: I got an email from Peter of Adelaide. I tried to reply but kept
getting email error that your address is not valid.
