Yes, your 880 is the original pre-production model of MAY 1959. It was not sold in the trade but disposed of to one of the Stratton workers, usually by charity raffle but sometimes a senior member bagged it! Thse usually come onto the market in house clearances or silent key sales in the Birmingham area. No record was kept of the 'winner'.
