Hello Chris ('HMR),
Greetings! I'm afraid I also tend to consider websites, etc., to be a bit of a pestilance; I don't really understand them and to me the PC is a typewriter and a teleprinter. More involved uses tend to get me in a muddle, which is why I haven't the slightest idea how to send a message to Warren! Out of the five 'old codgers' who are the hingepin of post-Lighthouse EUG only two have a PC connected to the outside world; and when you realise that one of them is me that only leaves Chris P who is literate . . .
But what I'm getting round to saying is that any messages that reach me (e.g. about 'members' holdings, and I think we must consider everybody now to be a 'member') - if I can print them out I shall forward them to James, with whom I am in constant telephonic touch.
Going back to previous (i.e. paid up) members; I once did a survey of those who wished their addresses/pnone numbers/e-mail to be listed and it was total chaos! Some would have addresses only, some would have telephones only, some would have callsigns and e-mail only. It was a farce and I made no attempt to go further. The result is that I have no phone list (with the exception of a few close members), no e-mail list (ditto), and a full name and address list which must be considered confidential . . .
Vy 73, Graeme.

Yes and no. Graham, G3GGL, and perhaps others, have a complete list
of all who were members of the EUG. But this was essentially a postal
list, and a perhaps surprising number of members bo not have email:
some hate it as a moderm pestilence! Which is why James's forms were
sent out with the last Lighthouse. Retrieving emails for those who
have them may be possible: if Graham G or Chris P read this perhaps
they can advise: certainly we want the best possible coverage on
James's survey: oh yes, I don't think James has email access...
