This is an unusual Eddy number since the letters normally reflect month and year of manufacture. Was it a series for prototypes? I doubt anyone would know...

This is a prototype: was gifted to Mike by a factory employee many years ago. Set is heavily modified. It was loaned to a museum but has now 'disappeared'. ...
