Bad news first; we were cut down to one short hour from the two hours
expected. EBB was scheduled between local heroes Young Neils (Neil
Young tribute band) and for unexplainable reasons headliners Blood,
Sweat & Tears. About 1.700 people fronted by a hard-core fan base of
10-12 persons aged from 15 to 65 years. EOR, Love in the Rain, Six
White Horses, Catch My Breath, Hotel Room, Last Electioneer, ODO + a
few more. Looks like the lads had a good time until they were told to
round it off way too early. ODO was a killer finale at least. In the
local newspapers next day EBB was in pole position. Big picture of
Rob, a tiny one of B,S&T. Revenge. Young female journalist was amazed
by the atmosphere during the EBB set.
Jarle & lovely Kirsten came all the way from Stavanger. Jarle holds a
black-belt master degree in EBB-history and sometimes drives me mad
with quiz & questions. Succeeded to smuggle my under-age daughter in,
she went directly in front of stage and had the time of her young
life. It has been a great year for Norwegian fans with four gigs,
thanks to the band for memorable moments. Have uploaded some pictures.
