I agree wholeheartedly with what you say. I remember from one of the 100 club
gigs a woman ( she sounded Polish) who spoke throughout REFUGEE, I couldnt
believe it. After the performance had finished Rob said something similar to
this woman as well. These people get right up my goat! Why spend the money going
to gigs, etc when youre gonna speak throughout songs.
I saw Roger Waters in May 08 at the 02 arena, and this was even worse, as it was
all seated, so you can't move away. We had a group of pissed up scousers (no
offence to people from Liverpool by the way, but these blokes did your city no
good) sitting behind us, and 4 pissed blokes sitting in front, it was a bloody
nightmare, up and down throughout the concert, more beers, more food, visits to
the toilet, and chatting throughout the songs they didn't like or didn't know.
This sort of thing seems to happen all the time these days, and dont get me
started on cinema's!!
Good news from a previous poster about a gig in Aylesbury in July. Any further
info/confirmation would be appreciated.
Cheers

solo number. i think its called "REFUGEE" from sing brother sing. its just him
and a bass drum beat, very thought provoking and some idiot in the crowd was
talking all the way through it. he must of been so loud because rob himself
heard him and at the end said "to the person who talked all the way through that
F**k you".it has troubled me to this day because i wanted to apologise to rob
for that person, even though i didnt know them.if you want to talk stay away
from the gig. i am not saying stand in silence the whole time, but theres a time
for talking and a time for listening and a time to know the difference. many
thanks to everyone for allowing me to air my views. yours STEWART.
