It is a sad testament that one person in a position of power can cause
so much damage,lately l have listened intently to Oora and Bandages
and it is very saddening to think that two excellent albums were some
how squandered after an obvious great deal of effort and thought had
been put into both albums especially Bandages which in my humble
opinion is a real change of artistic direction,for the band and was
very much in tune with the era.I have all the bands albums except for
Live Hits Harder which l have just ordered through Ecletic Discs.I am
not doing a promotion job ,but if you have never heard Bandages get
your head out of the day to day carnage and order it ,you will not be
dissapointed.It is amazing how one can quite easily listen to the band
and hear them evolving from album to album, and a crying shame that
the band did not gain the true recognition that they so richly
deserved but maybe thats what makes them so special in the annals of
rock history.
