Thanks very much for bringing this up! (I had forgotten about it)
I had seen these before, but although the current seller on eBay is
US based, his DVDs are PAL (Not NTSC). Additionally, I think Luciano
(erasure.com.br)or someone else had the sleeve up on their site, and
the reverse (relying on memory here) seemed to indicate these might
be Russian.
Mark, where does yours originate from?
Also, seeing as the cover shows the Laserdisc covers, it would seem
to indicate they are the original source. Mark, does that appesar to
be the case, or, God forbid, does it appear to be a VHS transfer?
Enquiring minds want to know. ;)
It's also interesting that the seller offers many commercially
released DVDs from "Europe", of which many are in NTSC format.
Anyhow, if you want to take a look, the seller name is theverybest4less
Cheers,
Tin
Ive no idea where mine originates from, the only details on the sleeve are SMV
Enterprises all region NTSC.The cover does have scans of the Wild! laser disc as
i have that item also, the tracklisting is the same so it is more than likely a
transfer from the laserdisc. the only clue as to what country its from is that
on the actual title menu Depeche Mode is spelt `Depeshe Mode`,whether thats of
any help?
But any DVD in your collection is a must!,i`m looking forward to the Tank DVD
in october, you know the same double disc DVD that ive been mentioning since may
2003 and everytime Mute/EIS/Greg has denied!,looks like i was right all a
long!........well its who you chat to isnt it? lol
See ya Mark.
