On 5^th September 2009in Edinburgh, Scotland the 8^th ACM SIGPLAN Erlang Workshop will takeplace. The workshop will bring together the open source, academic, andindustrial programming communities of Erlang. It will enable participants tofamiliarize themselves with recent developments on new techniques and toolstailored to Erlang, novel applications, draw lessons from users' experiencesand identify research problems and common areas relevant to the practice ofErlang and functional programming.
