Here at Tufts University we have an active study aboard program for
our students. At the same time, however, we also have students from
abroad who come to Tufts to study for 1 year or a semester.

Do any of you know if your university has a similar program bringing
students from abroad to your university for a short time, and do you
make attempts to engage and/or solicit these international students
for donations? Are there any success stories?

I have read in the past that international students often have a
strong affinity for other universities they have attended, even if
only for a semester or year. We are hoping to make the case to our DOs
and technical staff that these students could be a valuable
fundraising resource.

Cheers,
