Change of venue due to poor weather. Group of 6 walked into The
Ivystone from Worthy Combe. Weather good, sea flat. Hawser rope still
in place at the Culbone stream outlet. Top roped on St Bueno's Slab
on
three routes. Benji's last Route HVS 4c. Celt E3 5b and Martin
Crockers un-named route E5 6a, and no one slipped?.
Ivystone Ridge and surrounding paths are getting some use from deer
and are clear but some erosion. The route over the top of The
Ivystone
from beach to beach remains ok but care is required on the east side
when stepping from the grass slope onto the ground above St Bueno,s
Slab.
All slab routes look clean but the main face has a covering of guano
which makes the overlap on Kitnor pretty unpleaseant.
