18th February 2006. Jon and I climbed Neck Wood Gut on saturday. A
very long route, 1020ft with a steep 300ft section in the middle
comprising of a 100ft waterfall and 120ft of fine loose shale topped
by a loose 4ft step of large blocks cemented in place by red earth.
If it were not for the step it would be a reasonable gully but I
cannot recommend it, it is dangerous in its present state.
Route description in the Files folder.
