Weather and tide looks good for Sunday. Low water at 1357hrs 0.8m.
Im going down the Great Hangman Gut to have a look at the start of the
West Ridge and maybe have a play on it. I promise Im not going to try
and do the whole route, just recce the start. Before low water, move
off east and see how far we can go before being forced to escape.
Hopefully we may get to climb across The Swim and escape up The Tuesday
Route or even get into Heddons Mouth. I will be at the Girt Farm track
junction SS598469 at 1030hrs. I will be driving across the moor from
Taunton if anyone wants a lift. If you are going let me know via the
