[fauxnoir] is a vague archive featuring stories that explore the relationship between humans and archetypes. Taking elements of traditional Japanese tokusatsu drama in addition to conventional superhero soap operas and experimental elements such as themed battle systems and collectable cards in addition to themes of shonen ai and shoujo ai, [fauxnoir] is, at its heart, an experiment in progressing the ideals of such fiction.
