Ontario Standard Offer Contracts Awarded

915 MW of contracts were awarded in the first full year of Ontario's Standard Offer Contract Program.

In the first year of the SOC program, 66 projects representing 27 MW are operational. Some of these were orphan projects. Many are small rooftop solar PV projects of 1-3 kW.

There are 570 MW of contracts for wind, 250 MW for Solar PV (mostly central-station, ground-mounted), 30 MW of Hydro, and 60 MW of Biomass with the bulk of the latter from landfill gas.
