Last weekend's walks - Hoof Stones Height and Penyghent   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #37589 of 49078 |
Hi all,
Its been dull and damp here today so I thought that I would put last
weekend's photos onto webshots.

On Saturday Steve and myself had a fairly local walk on the moors
between Burnley and Todmorden. It wasn't a walk I would think about
doing unless the weather had been very dry. However thanks to the
dry weather we found very little bog and the groughs were also dry.

On Sunday we met up with Dave and Edith and walked Penyghent and
Plover Hill. As you will have realised ther were torrential storms
that afternoon in the Ribblehead area. Although we were only a few
miles away we stayed dry.

Thanks to Dave and Edith for their company. I hope Edith is feeling
better now.

The photos are on my Webshots;

Regards
Lorraine
