Hi all
I do apologise firstly for not having posted for a while. I am have
been setting up a business that is supposed to not involve to much
physical work but has left me exhausted and stuck in Dorset rather
than Nottingham.
I have a very limited access to the Internet while mobile and thank
you all for keeping things running and keeping the group alive.
I am working on a new newsletter and anyone who would like to recieve
either an e-mail copy of this or one in the post please contact me,
it will be posted on the Net in due course but anyone wanting to meet
up for a meal would be advised to contact me direct and I can pass it
onto someone better placed at the moment to organise them.
Although Fibro Friends exists here as a newsgroup the group is also
very much alive in the real world with meals, etc and also chatting
on the phone. Due to data protection if you would like to be
included in this list of members I would ask that you contact me for
a form to join and this will keep you updated with any extra events,
especially if you are in the East Midlands area.
If there is anyone in the Dorset area that would like to start
something up in the New Year please let me know as I am happy to get
something started up but will need to find a dedicated Fibro Friend
to keep it running, but with our full support. That also applies in
other areas as Fibro Friends groups are needed in other areas of the
country to support.
I would like to thank those people who are working behind the scenes
to keep this group going in my absence both online and in
Nottingham. I apologise for the lack of newsletter and website
update but they are definately next on my agenda.
I promise that as Christmas approaches rapidly that the website, will
be celebrating its first birthday in style with a complete upgrade of
information which I am working on and hope to be able to arrange
something special with those of you who meet up.
Anyway keep the group going and I hope that we are still making a
difference.
Nicola
Founder of Fibro Friends
