Cambridge Film Festival 2004
This story of a radical street theatre group nicely captures the
idealism and energy of youth. Not only this, but as the group's
performances become frighteningly real, we begin to question the
nature and limits of art, and the need for its constant re-invention
via extremism. The narrative is framed within documentary-like
talking heads, which underlines the perspective of looking back on
lost idealism. Manas skilfully mixes together various stylistic
colours, producing a rich and thoughtful film.
