A British film – yes, British – that can hold its head high amongst
the best of world cinema.

It's a brilliant piece of filmmaking: Richard Jobson has the lyricism
of Terence Davies and the sharp eye for imagery of Lynne Ramsay. Kevin
McKidd gives a dazzling performance as the tragic protagonist of this
shattering tale of brutal violence and fragile tenderness.

A must see.
