Sorry it's taken me a few weeks to get this sorted - but I've finally put the
minutes and reports from the annual members meeting on the site (in the files
section - on the left hand menu).
I'm arranging a date for January's committee meeting at the mo, which will be a
planning session for the coming year. If you are able to come along, please can
you me know what days are better for you (it would be great to have as much
input as possible at that one - all members/volunteers/specialist workers are
more than welcome).

Hi there its  located at the The Squire Yorke Pub so you can go for a cheap
lunch and then sit back and relax while they run arround, the staff are really
friendly there.  I ususlaly buy a coffee and take my own nibbles and jusice for
the kids as a fruit shoot is £1.45 might see you there some time,

I thought every one would like to know that Blue Bears, wrexham industrial
estate is free on a monday,  The play barn of which i dont know the name of in
MAlpas is free on a Tuesday.....and..... The Wackey Warhouse is free Monday to
thursday before 3pm in the afternoon.  Plenty of running arround to be had for
our active little monkeys.

I have been to the breastfeeding group which is very useful but i am
looking for things for my baby to get involved in to keep him ocupied.
I have also contacted tiny talk so thanks alot I appreciate it.

That's really great Denise, I'm really disappointed I can't come, hope it goes
really well. Hopefully some of the other guys will be able to make it. Sorry I
haven't managed to give you a bell yet too, I'll try to later this week if

I realise now it wasn't clarified who might cover - but hopefully all can be
sorted.

I wasn't at the meeting when you all decided to do a Facebook - I had a look
, it's a very good idea. Also, Laura, the newsletter was very good too.  A
friend of mine with his own business is interested in posting fliers in the
NNS bags and advertising in the newsletter. I gave him the contact number so
expect a call.

Anyway, if I can, I hope to see you at the meeting, all depending on
babysitters.  Don't really want to pay for one though! so I'll see if I can
do anything.

Hi All,
I'm sorry about this but I've had a message from Jumping Jacks today and a mum
turned up for NCT meet.  I didn't go, having stood down from my Post. I am
waiting to speak to them (JJ's). I think there is still another one in December;
can anyone make that?  I also need to take myself off the telephone recordings
as a point of contact. Shall I sort that out or would anyone be able to take on
that line?

My husband is working on the night of the 16th, so at the moment would not make
it, although I need to hand over a box of paperwork. I shall do my best for a
babysitter; will keep you informed.

Jennifer Scheuber contacted me and would like to introduce her swimming school,
Puddle Ducks to the group, perhaps via Jumping Jacks and wishing to meet parents
there.  She is running classes at LLyndwr Hall Hotel, Rossett on a Wednesday,
Thursday and Saturday.

There is also a Chester franchise, running from The Gateway to Wales Hotel and
Milton Brook Cottages, Barrow near Tarvin.

NCT newsletter; could someone give her a call to arrange something?

I've created a Facebook group called "Flintshire and Wrexham NCT Branch", with
the aim of a being forum for people to be able to chat, not restricted to
members, and we can keep it updated with news too. Just type the name in the
Search and you'll find it.

Also, on the Parent Services Administrator yahoo group, an antenatal teacher on
the Wirral and Liverpool, Kate Bedding, has offered to provide Early Days
courses to any of the surrounding areas. Is that something you think people may
be interested in? If people are keen and if we don't have this already, I can
get some more info from her for the Annual Members' Meeting and let you know
more details then. I did a similar course with Lynn Thompson from Chester
branch, with a group of us that had done the Antenatal course together, and it
was fantastic.

Hi All, I have one if not two unwell children tonight, so I won't be able to
cover Jumping Jacks tomorrow. Can anyone else cover?
Just a reminder, it's 1-2.30pm, tel. 01244 661754.  Also it is now paying on a
Tuesday, although I'm sorry, I don't know if babies and tiny toddlers go free as
in most Play Barns. (Can't find this info on the web site)
I brought the folder home with me, in case we changed our plan, and that has a
bright 'NCT' sign in it. If anyone can go, you may need to create another one or
speak to the reception and ask them to point enquirers to your table.
