There is a new wave of email viruses going round.
Now I know this is true, as Kaz and I have had quite a few of these types of emails the past few days, but they always go in our spam folders.
The emails don't have your name in them, they normally refer to you as "dude" or something, and they have fake youtube links in them, and they either claim that you have uploaded something that has upset others, and want you to take it down immediately, or they claim they have seen you in a video clip on youtube.
The links look like real youtube links, but, if you have a program like AOL, that shows you a url, when you place the cursor on a link, you will see that it is actually just numbers and not the same link as what is written in the email. (It's hyperlinked over the top)
So please be warned of fake youtube emails guys.
They won't come from an address you know, and your name won't be in them.
We were sensible enough to not click on the links, but others might not be so careful.
Yours Truly 2007,
Kuiama.
