Actually, I don't have a multi-book deal. I'm doing this one myself through a Print-On-Demand service. However, the plan is to attract big name publishers by demonstrating the ongoing appeal of Anne. I have no doubt at all that I will secure a deal - it's just a question of when.
In answer to your question about how old I was when I started being published: I was 27 when my first fanzine articles were published, and 30 when I was commissioned to write the original edition of Anne Droyd and Century Lodge. By the time I was signed by Jessica Kingsley Publishers for the Asperger edition of Century Lodge and my autobiographical account The Feeling's Unmutual I was 33.
By the time House of Shadows comes out, I will be 38!
