I had a quick look on PlayUSA and I was surprised that the DVD box set was
not on sale currently, especially as they did have Patrick McGoohan's
earlier series "Danger Man". (To which "The Prisoner" may or may not be a
sequel!)
It's well worth watching if you see it advertised on a nostalgia channel
like TV Land or in your rental shop. Very clever and entertaining, plus only
seventeen episodes so not too demanding on your time. A remake is rumoured
to be in the works, produced by Rupert Murdoch's Sky Television network.
This will not be set in the Village but somewhere else, possibly a tropical
island. Hmm I wonder if they are jumping on the "Lost" bandwaggon?

I never heard of "The Prisoner" TV series, is that available in the
US? I've never been much of a TV watcher, mostly movies. Sounds
interesting though.
