Yeah, I hear you. It would be irritating to say the lest, working on a story that someone else did too without you knowing. I was trying to see if I could buy a copy of your book on www.buy.com, but so far it only looks like Amazon has it. Is that because of how it was published?

I've never read Annie Droid, but I know of its existence because I discovered it just prior to CK Publishing releasing the original small press edition of my book and I was worried it might be a similar story.
I needn't have worried, though. If memory serves me right, Warner's book is not for children. I think the android in his story is a sort of robot female companion, a kind of automated girl friend.
But it did worry me back in 2002 because I thought Warner had beaten me to it!
