Hiya,

We've been finding it hard to keep up with making friends of the
heroes fortnightly and often find ourselves at the last minute
without enough articles. Rather than just keep plodding on trying to
force something that just isn't going to happen we've decided it is
time for a change.

For a start we are going to go monthly and produce a new issue on
the 1st of each month. Hopefully this will make remembering the
deadline a bit easier!
Ideally we would like people to keep sending stories, articles or
whatever else they have throughout the month so we don't end up with
a last minute panic. Also don't feel you should restrict yourself to
writing just once a month! Write as often or as little as you would
like!

We are also going to resurect the blog. For those of you who don't
know what I'm talking about the old blog can be found here:

It will be different though, and once our redesign is complete it
will become a place where short music/book/or film reviews, snippets
of stories or poems can go. It will also make up part of the main
contents page so hopefully people will come back to visit us
throughout the month.

We'd like as many people as possible to be involved in writing in
the blog and the topics in there to be as varried as possible so
that it becomes a mini version of the current version of foth.

To do all of this the current webdesingers for the site have decided
that we will take a break of one month and return on the 1st of
August with the brand new issue. Thanks to everyone who has sent me
article and story recently and sorry we won't be using them straight
away but we will use them on our return!

Also we'd like to make our return after the months break as
spectacular as possible so if you have any ideas of how to do this
get in touch!

Please let us know if you have any other ideas of how foth could be
improved...
