dear all (those of you who might still remember me... faintly)

since i have recently got what i experienced as a disapproving e-mail from
dimitra, i was reminded that it was high time that i let everyone know i will be
(very briefly) in the u.k. in january, and i would LOVE to meet all of you (or,
failing that, as many as i can manage!)

i'm more or less only going to be there between the 4th and 7th of jan, and then
the 18th again, which probably makes it a little difficult... and i'm probably
going to nottingham on the 5th, but... oh dear, i'll make a plan anyway!

ps. i've got a 9-5 job for next year, and ONLY ONE... and hopefully i'd be able
to write again!

pps. also, rachel, while i'm there i'd like to contribute something to the
hosting fees. if a can give that to you in person, so much the better! but
otherwise, can you let me know what would be the best way for me to do that?
