Re: [g3lrs] Can any one help?

Mike

I have DF equipment for 160m, 80m and 2m. I'd be pleased to do a bit of investigation but do not loan equipment out. I believe that it is important that each and every source of interference is located, where possible the cause identified, and the information shared.

I suffer various sources of RF noise at home, each of which I've tracked down though getting any of it stopped is another matter!

Some went away on 5th January when the Christmas flashing lights were turned off until next December :-)

Out of interest one source is a factory about five minutes walk away which wipes out 160m (20db over S9) and is a nuisance on parts of 80 m from early morning until around midnight.

Another is a serious regular clicking across most of HF which is, as I suspected, from an electric fence over a mile away. Most of the rest is from domestic properties within 100 yards or so.

Hi, and a belated Happy New Year to one and all.

Can any one help a fellow LRS member who is experiencing severe QRM
across all amateur bands from 80 - 10M? It's in the form of constant
noise across the whole of each band and varies from S5 to S9 on some
days. He is looking for the loan of a portable RX to attempt to DF the
source of the QRM or better still any one with DF experience who may
wish to take the challenge of helping to locate the QRM This QRM has
been around for a few years now and is stopping any serious Amateur
Radio from his QTH.

Initially please contact myself and I'll pass on any offers of help.
