Just returned from Cropredy Folk Festival, Tent is dried out but I am not !

They should really put a restriction on the amount of special real ales available.

They even brew one specially for the weekend which must not be allowed to go back to the brewery.

What with goat curry & lentils and all that beer it plays havoc with ones underpants

 

 

RE LRS  activity time

Will try and sort out the 2mr Linear should be good for a 200 watts or so.

However it may be that the new ICOM will manage 100 watts.. Would be nice to give it an airing.

WIll check but i think it might be my lomng wekend in which case could get the trailer pre loaded on Friday ?.

Should make club Monday let me know if U need a lift. We could then sort out an inventory.

Dear members,

We are planning a Radio Activity Weekend

3rd - 4th Sept 2005   hopefully at Skeffington

There are at least two contests on during the weekend
one on 144MHz and the other on Hf SSB

The main aim is to provide the basis of a fun
weekend playing radio be it in either of the tests
or just playing and sharing your favourite mode.

We plan to have sufficient power and some accommodation
tents and / or maybe the club's caravan on site.

A BBQ is also being planned for the Saturday evening.

Bring the tent, camper or caravan etc and the family and join
in the fun.
