In the interest of starting some discussion among everyone here (it
may be we're working on similar topics!):

What are some of the new media/game language learning projects you're
working on now? What are some of the questions/issues you have with
media/games and language learning? Are you running a study?
Integrating games in a school curriculum?

To answer my own question:
- my dissertation research examined how the interactivity of Parappa
the Rapper affected vocabulary recall, cognitive load and telepresence
(once the document has passed my committee (in Dec., hopefully!), I'd
be happy to share it with the group here)
- This year, I'm doing an ethnography of a language video game library
( http://aizulvl. pbwiki.com ) that I set up at my University. I'm
looking at a variety of issues: interactions among players in the
library, players' reactions to various game genres, how the resource
fits in with the culture/curriculum of the University, and some
initial usability-related projects.
