   Just wondered if you'd be interested to know that the 2012 season is coming up
in the NFLC, week 0 runs on Wednesday 5th.  So if you are looking at joining an
advanced league with over half the teams being run by an active coach, be sure
to check out the website here www.lovelyjubbly.info/gameplan/main.aspx, and the
rosters here www.lovelyjubbly.info/gameplan/rosters.pdf.  The available teams
are Buffalo, Jacksonville, Seattle, Oakland, NY Giants, Washington, Green Bay,
Minnesota, Chicago and Carolina.

Two back to back in BS (Packers). Won the first reaching the play
offs as a wild card and beating Nick Sims' Saints on the way in my
first full season. This year I was dumped out as a wild card with a
14-2 record but the NFC Central dvison is very strong - the Lions &
Bears both advanced past the end of the regular season.

In NFLA I managed the Championhip game last season, first full I
think, losing to Mr Hatfields' Seahawks in another close game.

Sounds like you've only recently returned to GP. Is it what you
remembered? Have you founf gp_vcon to play games back with? Makes
game day very exciting - esecially the last few plays of a close game.

There's a little bug with your account at the moment that I haven't
figured out yet, but I'm working on it.
The BS needed a moderator and as its only registered member AFAIK I
gave you moderator rights for the BS section.

Anyone who comes here because they can't get the new forum to work
please feel encouraged to contact alan or myself driectly so we can
help sort out your problems so you can enjoy the new forum!

Perhaps you should go back and read the rationale and all the dozens
of contributers who shared their thoughts, it will all become clear.

Actually, for the record, 90% of the posts on the AY forums were by
people who had never even been here when I started it. All the people
who used both expressed a preference for the forum format.

To cut a long story short the way the AY forum worked was very
popular with almost everyone (all except alan IIRC :P ) but the forum
itself was not big enough for everyone, and was missing a few
advanced features, so Alan and I (with lots of input and help) set up
a bigger better forum for everyone at www.forum.gameplan.org.uk to be
a fresh start, that can provide everything people need and want from
an online gameplan community.

Both previous sites, Yahoo and AY et al., will cease to be used as
part of the agreement and to be clear that there is just one place to
go to where we can all be together and concentrate the activity,
rather than dilute it, as there is probably not enough activity to
keep this group alive anymore anyway, and I was conscious of finding
a more longterm forum for the AY and its friends.

www.forum.gameplan.org.uk went up this week and is off to a fine
start.
Anyone reading this should bookmark it, sign up and learn the ropes-
I guarantee you won't regret it.

LOL Danny! Unfortunately for me I read the forum messages in Outlook
and hadn't had my GP arrive when I read that. However please don't
take that as a moan about spoilers, I just won't bother to look at
the game in GPVcon now!! ;-) I can't say I'll take our match up as
seriously as you but I promise to give it some time, will ten minutes
do? Congrats to Mike, I did make some changes to my GP for this game
so it will be interesting when it comes through to see whether I was
double bluffed!

Unfortunately for me the AR turn entry is the same day as the one for
BS where I'm fighting to get a wild card spot so I tend to spend a
bit more time on that at the moment. As the best I could hope for in
AR is only a wild card, and that's after 5 turns (any chance of a
transfer to the NFC please), I'm concentrating my efforts on BS to
get another shot at the SB. Unfortunately the 3 best teams in the NFC
are in my division so that doesn't help! I'd like to drop a couple of
Basic teams, especially where there are few real players, so I can
concentrate more on AR and BS but in BX I'm on a 15 game winning
streak and I'll be staying there until I miss out on a SB win. In N
I'm certain to be in the playoffs in a couple of turns time and hope
to go one better than last season so it might be a while then before
I leave either of them!
