Half way through the regular season and the Yanks have a 17 game lead in the AL
East. The division is not the powerhouse it used to be which is just as well as
the Yanks aren't as strong as they used to be, IMO. Only two starters with the
abilities I prefer for starters but they are doing a job and the bullpen is
pretty strong. As usual wages are high and finances fairly tight so little room
for changes. We should have enough to reach the playoffs but will be less
confident/expectant of doing well if we get there this year.
