Theoretically, yes - WAAS uses a series of ground stations with known fixed
locations to
refine the error present in the clock signals coming from the GPS satellite
network.

My understanding is that the Forerunner 405 is WAAS enabled and the 305 isn't. Does that mean that the 405's GPS is more accurate than the 305's?...
