Hi Cesar...
From what I can see, the unit took a satellite fix at 15:07:55 (TIME) then NOTHING for 38 mins until 15:55:07 (TIME).....
Maybe you didn't start the unit with a strong GPS fix?? Do you always run in that area?
If you had travelled to NY for the race and NOT localised your GPS since travelling more than 100 miles.. it will take up to 30 mins (stationary) to find the optimal satellites... my view is that it was simply searching all the time... localising your unit the DAY BEFORE is always a good idea after travelling over 100 miles...
If it was not this.. then are you sure you didn't press STOP (after just a few seconds...)
The total distance is correct as I am assuming the first 7 miles is quite a straight line... it knows where you were at the start, and also where you were 38 mins later....
Hope that helps a bit
Tris
