Hi Folks
I have a Forerunner 205 and an iPod Shuffle. The Garmin driver keeps getting
lost and my Garmin comes up as an 'unknown device'. This forces me to reinstall
the drivers in order to download my runs.

Last night, after my run I spent a long time trying to reinstall the drivers. I
finally had to 'eject' my iPod, then reinstall the Garmin drivers. I downloaded
my data. A short while later, I reconnected my iPod. This auto-launches
iTunes. After closing iTunes my computer started beeping at me. Once again, my
Garmin was showing as an unknown device. GRR! I was so frustrated I just left
it on the dock to recharge and with broken drivers.

I have tried searching the support database on Garmin with no luck. And I sent
them a question about it, but I'm not 100% certain my question actually got
submitted since I didn't get a "We have received your message" type of
auto-reply (which seems to be fairly typical). So I thought I'd search for user
groups and see if anyone else is having USB issues and if you've stumbled across
an answer.
