Question with regard to the history section of 305 workouts   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #9 of 87 |
I just got my 305 and have enjoyed using it. I feel it's pretty
accurate with regard to distance covered and average heart rates. The
problem I have has to do with my understanding the history section
after I enter a workout into the computer. The map is fine, the graph
of pace and heartrate is fine . . . . but in the details section, even
though I can tell how far (and for how long) I habe run in each
heart-rate range, when it comes to my speed settings, the times don't
add up to the total workout time, and the distances don't add up to
the total distance I've run the workout in. In fact, for the times, I
get negative numbers, which makes no sense at all to me. For the
speed zones, I had manually readjusted them from basically 20:00 per
mile down to 5:15 per mile, with most of the pace settings at say 6:15
- 6:45, and then one from 6:46 - 7:20; the next from 7:21 - 7:40 and
so on . . . . you get the idea. I thought what I would see would be a
breakdown of a day's run interms of how much time/distance was spent
in each of the ten speed ranges, but like I say, the numvers that I
get simply don't add up, nor do they make sense. Any suggestons would
be appreciated.
