I have a problem with downloading the data from my Forerunner 50 to
my Garmin USB stick which was purchased for me as I need to monitor
just my heartbeat. I have built my own pc and had a Polar heart beat
unit but the Garmin has beaten me in the setting up of the unit to
the point of wanting to throw it out the window.
I downloaded the software as instructed and the ANT Agent icon
appears on the screen and says it is looking for the data but cannot
find any? The heartbeat icon comes up on the unit ok and when I stop
the watch and change the mode to time nothing downloads to the USB
stick?
Looked into the History file and something appears in that but again
no download? All I want is the heartbeat recorded over the working
day to download at night but do I need to set up zones with minimum
and maximum limits for the Garmin to work and download as the
pamphlet does not say.
There is nothing on You Tube to look at for the idiots who cannot
manage this equipment and the booklet is very basic for asking simple
questions about what you need to set up first in the Forerunner just
to get the heartbeat information out plus of course no disk to play
on the pc that you get with many digital cameras.

Any help in getting this unit to download data will be gratefully
received BHP and thank Lucie for her great service.
Did check Computer Pairing and the heart rate monitor did come in the
package and reads ok on the watch unit from the misses.
