Just in case anyone is foolish enough to think that
my latest c4countdown forum message does not deserve
to be seen by everyone? Here is a spare copy of
what I have just tried to post at c4countdown forum.

This is a message which breaks NONE of the rules of
the c4countdown forum, and which attempts to name
*no individual person* as being either

- "Mr Trollchild"; or
- responsible for any specific wrongdoing.

... thus meaning that it deserves to appear on the
c4countdown forum, as shown below, without any text
being deleted or edited.

This message is, TTBOMK, currently 'awaiting approval'
in the c4countdown "moderation queue" ....

ETHICS ... which some people appear to
think of as being

There have been numerous occasions, during
the period since c4countdown began, where
I have been subjected to practices or
behaviour by other persons within t'internet
areas of Countdownia which fall some way
short of acceptable ethical standards.

Here is the latest example. In return for
my bringing it up on c4countdown forum,
I deserve to be the target for

- no further bans;

- no further sanction, or restriction or
limitation upon my rights at c4countdown
[or any successor];

- no further *threats* of ban, or sanction,
or restriction or limitation upon my rights
at c4countdown [or any successor]

- no further deletions of whole messages;

- no further interference with what I have
written by 'editing' parts of my messages
(not even to alter so much as 1 single word
or punctuation mark from what I have written
herein, for example);

- no further insults or barbed comments;

- no further whinging complaints about *my*
behaviour
(e.g. the equivalent of a corrupt,
good-ole-boy policeman from the Southern
states of the USA, who leans over you and
says with a very noticeable drawl
"We do-unt la-ark thuh tow-en of yurr
mess-i-edge boy-ee");

- no further 'flame' or intimidatory emails;

... nor any further spiteful acts being
committed against me, either via the
c4countdown forum or by any other means.

All that I deserve instead is to receive an
unreserved apology - or six. Especially in
view of the massive, massive kindness that
I'm going to show herein ... by *not*
publically naming-and-shaming the person whom
I have described below as "Mr. Trollchild".

If that apology is given, unreservedly -
without me being given *any* further grief
from *any* quarter?

Then as someone thereafter freely able to
use the c4countdown forum to discuss the
major reforms needed, without being the
target any recriminations - nor any further
limitiations upon my rights at c4countdown?
I would then have no need to divulge to Joe
Public the true identity of "Mr. Trollchild".

Please note that my usage here of the term
"Mr. Trollchild" is intended as reference
to someone who is older than either of
those 2 young Countdown stars Jono & Conor.

Despite being younger than "Mr. Trollchild",
Jono & Conor are both old enough, mature
enough and wise enough to know better than
to behave in the precise manner that our
"Mr. Trollchild" has just done.

So what was stopping him?

In a recent chatroom conversation, the following
false & highly misleading statement was attempted
to be spread around:-

As-Yet-Unnamed Mr. Trollchild says:
"zef has been banned from c4c something like 5-6 times"

Since I have no way of knowing
(i) how many separate occasions there have been
on which Mr. Trollchild has spread around his
false statement;
(ii) how many other people he has told it to; or
(iii) how many of those other people have chosen
to further spread around Mr. Trollchild's false
statement to 3rd parties

... I feel that I have no choice but to
"go public" with this statement of correction.

Mr. Trollchild's use of the phrase "zef has
been banned..." [without further qualification
or caveats] implies the total removal of my
c4countdown forum membership ... 5-6 times.

Let me here and now state that I have only
ever had my c4countdown forum membership
totally removed TWICE upto 6/6/06.

Not "5-6 times", as has been falsely stated
therein by Mr. Trollchild.

As-Yet-Unnamed Mr. Trollchild says:
"zef has been banned from c4c something like
5-6 times"


Mr. Trollchild's statement contains no attempt
to refer to the fact that both of the 2 bans
from c4c which have *actually* been imposed
upon me have been considered to be unfair and
inappropriate - by myself and by others too.

Thus, Mr. Trollchild's above statement effectively
serves to also imply on his behalf the following
false and/or highly misleading claims:-

(A) That 5-6 bans have been imposed upon me as
a result of the c4countdown forum's bans policy
being - in each & every instance - always
operated in an entirely fair & proper manner;

(B) That negative behaviour committed against
me, by the other forum users involved in my
being so banned, was proper behaviour;

and worst of all ....

(C) That I am a person whose standards of
behaviour at the c4countdown forum has been
*very very* poor. So very poor, that I have
actually DESERVED to be subjected to 5-6 bans.


Let me state here & now, that my behaviour
upon this forum and elsewhere - especially
when considered in the context of what other
people have been doing towards me (and have
been unfairly allowed to do) - has never
TRULY justified the imposition of even
*1* ban [or other form of restriction] upon
me or my right to use any Countdown forum.

As for (B) above? The false claim that
negative behaviour from other forum users,
who have been involved in my being banned
from c4c, has been *proper* behaviour?

Well when I am the target for massively nasty
flame messages? Or for malicious falsehoods?
What *SHOULD* happen, at any Countdown forum
which is properly & ethically run at all
times, is that I get protected against the
actions of such individuals - not a banning!!

It appears to me as though Mr. Trollchild's
purpose, in making the above verbal attack
upon me, is to attempt to ensure that I
will be omitted from the consultations &
discussion that are presently taking place
regarding the future path which is to be
taken by c4countdown or any successor.

But after the way that Mr. Trollchild has
chosen to do this? Without being wise
enough and/or diligent enough (and/or
honest enough???) to properly ensure that
what he said about me was not any kind of
false and/or misleading statement?

His behaviour should be considered as
evidence that it is in EVERYONE'S best
interest to make sure that I am fully
included and welcomed within present
consultations & discussions about the
future of this forum or its successor(s).

As I end this message, I am mindful of
the fact that there has already been IMO
one attempt to have me obstructed or
deflected away from having involvement
with bringing the best possible reforms
to the internet forum(s) of Countdown.

Well any attempts to dispute the accuracy
- or validity - of anything I have stated
within this message should be considered
as further deliberate acts of obstruction.
As nothing less than further attempts to
deliberately deprive the process of
Countdown forum reform from having the
full benefit of my involvement - and the
most of my available time & energies.

And as evidence showing that certain
individuals are putting themselves 1st ...
with the long-term good of everyone else
who are forum (or mailing list) using
Countdown fans coming a distant 2nd.

("Pro Fora" - but who believes it is even
more important that we have massive extra
amounts of "Perestroika" [restructuring]
& more "Glasnost" [openness] brought in
regarding the ethical framework &
operating practices used in the running
of c4countdown or any successor fora.

Otherwise, all our other & many efforts
to try and achieve the most brilliant
Countdown forum possible may not amount
to much more than a hill o' beans).
