Who would win a league of the great players?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #9267 of 9304 |
Pick 20 all-time great players, and go back in a time machine and
pick them all up while at their peak and play them all against each
other. Who would win? Which 20 would you pick?

These are the 20 I would pick (in chronological order):

1. Mark Nyman
2. Harvey Freeman
3. John Clarke
4. Nic Brown
5. Allan Saldanha
6. Tim Morrissey
7. Don Reid
8. Scott Mearns
9. Graham Nash
10. David Williams
11. Tom Hargreaves
12. Chris Wills
13. Julian Fell
14. Chris Cummins
15. Stewart Holden
16. Paul Gallen
17. Mark Tournoff
18. Conor Travers
19. Paul Howe
20. Matthew Shore

It was actually very hard to decide exactly which 20 to use and some
just missed out. And the winner of the league? Well, with all
players at the top of their game, it would be close, but I'd go for
Paul Gallen.
