Light Switch Problem   Message List

Hi guys,

I'm not too experienced when it comes to problems on the Gileras,
so I was wondering whether someone could help me out with a
problem i'm having.

I own a Gilera Runner SP 125, 2000 model. A few weeks ago my
exhuast cracked and developed a fairly large hole, so I got
that fixed. A week later, my lights weren't working properly!

When I put my lights on, with the switch on the right hand side
under the rev, all I get is the small bulb come on thats above
the two main left and right lights. when I attempt to fiddle with
the light controls on the left hand side, nothing happens. Except
when I press down on 'Passing,' then I get the left side bulb come
on, but nothing else.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this before? Could it be the
(somewhat stupid) light switch on the left, the one on the right,
or do I just have a burnt out buld that's causing the problem?
I'm hoping it's nothing to do with the electrics.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

P.S. I did try to get the panel off to look at the connections to
the switches, but after taking out the two screw, i couldn't get
the thing off. I was scared of forcing it off and breaking it, so
I left it. Any idea on how you get that off?
