Just been looking at the Butlins weekenders for next year, and I
must say I'm not impressed. I used to look forward to the end of
January, but they don't seem to be doing much to help blow away the
winter blues.

So, I ask myself, would people come over for a weekend to Tenerife,
bearing in mind the budget would only stretch to good tributes and
cover bands.

I've spoken about it on other forums, but now a contact of mine has
suggested it too, so we're putting a few more feelers out in the way
of suitable venues etc. It's still on the back of a fag packet at
the moment, but as the Butlins rock weekender is no more, we think
it may fill a gap.

What tribute bands would you travel that far to see (or is it too
far), although it's not just about that but we would have to make it
worth the trip wouldn't we.

Would you prefer to just buy the ticket or the whole package incl
accommodation, flights etc.

Suggestions and input please.

Axeman, as you go abroad with BC Sweet a fair amount you may be able
to give me some input on the logistics of moving your gear around.
Drum kits the tough one I'd imagine. Backline info also appeciated
(what's the best spec etc).
