Great to see you in Darkest Sussex for Sweet FA - nearly unplugged!

The venue has always been a bit of a favourite, friendly, decent
stage, the punters dance and get involved, but the room shape has
always been a bugger for getting a decent sound - so much so that we
resort to 2 PAs, one to sling the sound round the corner.

So playing under the watchful eye of a noise meter wasn't much fun.
You can't put your all into playing whilst under that sort of
pressure, and if we had overdone the volume their licence is a goner.

Si retired on 22nd December, which caused much amusement as bets were
immediately laid on when he would unretire. His retirement lasted 13
days, so we are please to announce Sweet FA's new bass player - Syzee
Cointreau!

New dates for 2008 are being added to the Sweet FA web site -
www.thesweetfa.com - so we would love to see some of our old friends
do a Norm and creep out of the woodwork and see us in action!
