Sorry this is really late notice, but I was wondering if you would be interested in taking part in the flower model weekend happening this weekend in sunny Manchester!!!! Here's some more info on flower Model...
Flower Model is SPEAK's participatory planning weekend, which happens twice a year in April and November. Anyone can come and take part, and therefore have a real impact in the future of the network. As SPEAK has only a small team of full time workers, we really need members of the network to get involved!
The Flower Model is made up of various petals - basically teams of people - who have different interests within SPEAK. Petals you can be ivolved with include:-
Campaigns
Prayer
Sharing Faith
Groups
International
Arts
Media
Petals meet to discuss there various aspects of SPEAK's work, then they meet with other teams to share ideas, for example, the arts petal and the prayer petal might meet to discuss creative prayer for the day of action, and the campaigns petal and the sharing faith petal might meet to talk about dance uppon injustices or stuff.
On sunday we have big chats about the day of action and soundcheck and other big stuff!

I coordinate the Groups Petal which is basically there to represent the groups and discuss group type stuff.
